If You Have Fleas In Your House, You Need Flea Bombs
If you have dogs and you live in a moist climate, chances are good that you have some fleas in your house from time to time. Flea control for dogs can be quite a challenge. In some cases this can be quite a problem and the only way to get rid of them is to fumigate your house with a flea bomb. A flea bomb is a device that emits a chemical in the form of a gas to kill any living fleas that may be in your home.
When it’s time to buy a flea bomb, you should look for two ingredients on the label. The first is an ingredient called an adulticide. Adulticides are designed to kill any living fleas in your home. It is likely that there will be some fleas that survive this fumigation process and that’s why it’s very important to have the second chemical in the flea bombs that you purchase. The second chemical will render any surviving fleas sterile and prevent them from reproducing. This will break the life cycle and you will no longer have fleas in your home.
When you fumigate your house, you’ll need to be out of the house for several hours. This is the perfect time to take your pets to the groomer for a medicated flea bath. By doing this, you kill any fleas that are living in your house with the flea bomb and you kill any fleas are living on your dog with a medicated bath. This will prevent your dog from carrying a bunch of fleas right back into the house after you’ve gone to all the trouble a fumigating with a flea bomb. You should also kill any fleas that might be living in your grass by applying a chemical pesticide that is formulated for the purpose of killing fleas. It would also be a really good idea to keep you pets contained in a large dog cage for a few hours to prevent them from ingesting any of the pesticide on the lawn.
When using a flea bomb to fumigate your house, it is of the utmost importance that you follow the directions on the label very closely. Never reenter the home until the recommended time span has passed. When you finally do reenter the home, it’s a good idea to open a bunch of doors and windows and turn some fans on to thoroughly ventilate the home. You should also use this time to watch any bedding or clothing that was left behind in the home during the fumigation process. I would also wash any glasses, dishes, and silverware before eating off of them again.
