Looks and image are important to most women, and the look of their purse is as important as the effect of the whole ensemble. A good purse for everyday use that should be able to carry all of the daily essentials and more is a backpack purse. Some women may shy away from the look of carrying their purse on their back, but the advantages may be enough to sway their opinion.
A big advantage is that the purse rests on their back and is supported by two shoulders and not just one like all of their other bags. This is better for the whole body and will help with posture issues as well as aches in that one shoulder that has been doing all of the work. They may even find that they can carry more weight on their back than the other purses would allow.
A second advantage is that with the purse secured on the back, a woman’s hands are free for other things like texting or talking on a cell phone as she goes about her business. Having booth hands free also gives better balance, so going up and down steps and hills will be easier.
A third advantage is that a backpack purse, whether made from leather or fabric all have many pockets to store things in and the pockets are secured with zippers and snaps to keep things from falling out. These pockets are distributed on the inside and outside of the bag and keep things organized in a neat fashion. The large inner area is often separated into two compartments and some are large enough to hold a laptop or an extra pair of shoes. That large compartment is normally secured by a flap that covers the top and either snaps in place or has a buckle to strap it in place. No more concerns about things falling out as they are all secured.
