A biggest challenge a teacher faces is the unresponsive students in his class. Some students are so unresponsive that they are failing exams. It also doesn’t help them that it’s an exam from a teacher to get these students out of this state and put them back on the track. Teachers do this that why we celebrate teachers day to praise their work for us.
Reasons of students being unresponsiveness:
1)Family problems: Many student suffer from family problems and cannot bear to talk about it. They may have divorced parents or they may be suffering from mental or physical abuse, which they will not speak about in public due to fear, pride and many such emotions. These strong emotions make them careless about other things including their studies and activities, which affects them in the future. Teachers can be a listener here and can help them to come over this situation. These students need somebody to trust and who can listen to their problems. This can greatly improve their confidence in all and help them in their life and future.
2)With the inability to understand advanced concepts or fear of that they may be dumb can cause many students to become careless about their studies. Then they afraid of the teachers and they will not come forward to ask any question. They may be very smart but their fear of teachers makes them not responsive to the teachers. Teacher can go to them and ask them what they didn’t understand and teach them again and again, encourage them to talk in the class and increase their confidence. This confidence gained in the school will help them throughout their life.
Teachers can do many things for these students and the main thing needed to do is a word of appreciation for them and this can be done wisely with the use of the teacher stamps.
