Happy Birthday Israel!
Israel’s birthday, going by the Jewish calendar, was reborn a nation 61 years ago today. In the Western calendar Israel was reborn as a nation on May 14th 1948. Israel became a nation in one day, which was prophesied in the Bible.
“A voice of noise from the city, a voice from the temple, a voice of the LORD that rendereth recompence to his enemies. Before she travailed, she brought forth; before her pain came, she was delivered of a man child. Who hath heard such a thing? who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? or shall a nation be born at once? for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children. hall I bring to the birth, and not cause to bring forth? saith the LORD: shall I cause to bring forth, and shut the womb? saith thy God.” (Isaiah 66:6-9).
We must continue to support our ally amongst nations that hate Israel and America. Keep you eye on Israel in these end times. The President of Iran Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is working on his campaign to be re-elected and we all know about his strong hatred for Israel and his wish for them to be wiped off the earth in order to quickly bring in his messiah. May God changed the heart of the President of Iran to find Jesus Christ the one and only Messiah.
People want peace and they think that dividing up Israel will create “peace.” Be careful, because peace can only happen in this fallen world when Jesus the Prince of Peace comes back to reign.
“While people are saying, “Peace and safety,” destruction will come on them suddenly, as labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape.” (1 Thes. 5:3)
