Bible Study
I went to Bible study the other day and I had a lot of fun. It is nice to discuss the Bible with others, because they make great points that you missed. I have been going to this Bible study only a couple of times. So I am a newbie there. I like reading any of the Bible and studying it, but I was hoping to start from the beginning and reading it all the way through. This Bible study takes 7 years to complete, and you skip books of the Bible.
I have not read the Bible from beginning to end before. I have heard all the stories growing up, because my Dad always read from the Bible when we had church as a family.
As I mentioned in a previous Bible study post, I have started reading the Bible on my own starting from the beginning, with the read a Bible in a year plan. And that is going good so far, even though I am a couple days behind.
In regards to this Bible study group, I guess I will go where God takes me. Perhaps, I can find a different group more to my likening or perhaps I will be happy reading anything from the Bible within the group.
I know that reading the Bible daily is bringing more peace to my life and I am excited to know God more!
